Chapter 3
1) . 'Walter looked as if he had been raised on fish food: his eyes, as blue as Dill Harris's, were red- rimmed and watery. There was no colour in his face except at the tip of his nose, which was moistly pink. He fingered the straps of his overalls, nervously picking at the metal hooks . " What is this telling us about ?
Answer : I think he was shocked at that time , his eyes were red and watery and that means he was going to cry as he is nervously picking at the metal hooks .
2) " Reason i can't pass the first grade , Mr Finch , is I've had to stay out ever' spring an' help Papa with the chop-pin' " Did the father neglect his son's studies upon asking him to help him in the field work ?
Answer : My opinion is that , i think Walter's father neglected his son's studies because he thinks that studies are not important and he wants his son to help him in the field work more often .
