American is the main target for racism in the 1930s. The Americans came out with different ways to counter this problem as well as to support the fellow country-mate.

Many Americans gathered at held many protests. This was the most effective way for that period. White Americans still have a better life that time but many rights of African Americans were completely ignored.

This story is narrated by a young girl named Jean Louise Finch, who is always called by her nickname, Scout. Jem, (scout older brother) sustained many years earlier; she begins by recounting her family history. The first of her ancestors to come to America was a fur-trader and apothecary named Simon Finch, who fled England to escape religious persecution and established a successful farm on the banks of the Alabama River. The farm, called Finch’s Landing, supported the family for many years. The first Finches to make a living away from the farm were Scout’s father, Atticus Finch, who became a lawyer in the nearby town of Maycomb, and his brother, Jack Finch, who went to medical school in Boston. Their sister, Alexandra Finch, stayed to run the Landing.A successful lawyer, Atticus makes a solid living in Maycomb, a tired, poor, old town in the grips of the Great Depression. He lives with Jem and Scout on Maycomb’s main residential street. Their cook, an old black woman named Calpurnia, helps to raise the children and keep the house. Atticus’s wife died when Scout was two, so she does not remember her mother well. But Jem, four years older than Scout, has memories of their mother that sometimes make him unhappy.
It was time scout attended school and jem was to take scout to school.jem told scout not to bother him at school not even tagging behind him during recess time.scout teacher miss caroline was a young lady who is twenty one,she begian the day by reading a story to the class about cats.After the story miss caroline print the alphabet on the blackbord and asked the class if anyone know what that is.miss caroline then choose scout to read it out as she knew her name.miss caroline then realised that scout can read.she was not very please with scout,she thought atticus taught scout to read and she wanted scout to tell atticus to stop teaching her how to read.during recess scout told jem what miss caroline said to her and jem replied her that miss caroline was just teaching her a new method.after recess miss caroline wave cards that was printed with word to scout class.scout felt bored and she started to write a letter to dill,miss caroline saw what she was doing and told her to tell atticus not to teach her to write too.miss caroline told scout that she will only learnt how to write when she reach grade three.but the fact is scout was taught how to write by calpurnia and was rewarded everytime scout pleased her.miss caroline then tell the class to put their lunch box on the table and she went down to have a look,she suddenly come to a halt and asked walter where is his lunch box.walter twitched his jaw when miss caroline asked if he have forgotten to bring his luch box,and he replied yes.miss caroline then gave walter a quarter and asked him to go eat and can paid her back tommorow.walter reject it,miss caroline was getting impatience and asked walter to have it but he reject it again.when walter reject for the third time someone asked scout to tell miss caroline,scout then explain to miss caroline that he is a cunninghams however miss caroline doesn not get what scout was trying to tell her.scout then explain to her that walter was a cunninghams and was enable to return her money but was able to return her with something not in money which she would not use it.miss caroline was angry with scout as she can't understand what scout was saying and dragged scout by the coller to the back of the class, she gave scout a few hit on her plamsand made her stand at a coner t as a punishment

• Jazzline was starting on the script .
• Amira was looking for photos on Fort Siloso and writing down what everyone was doing.
• Adeline and Darius was creating the blog.
• Mikeshen and Siokhoon were starting their research on Fort Siloso.

Not alot of thing were done today because of time restrain. But we have manage to do some of the things like Jazzline had started on the script and she will continue this to night so that we can edit on the script tommorrow. Amira had find some pictures . Adeline and Darius had created the blog and had already invited all of the group members to the class blog. Liyong and Faizal had done their research on Total defence day and tommorow they will be generating questions for the interview. Mikeshen and siokhoon had difficulties on the research of Fort Siloso as they don't know what they are actually looking for. So we will try to help them tommorrow and lets hope by tomorrow thing will go on find.

• Liyong and Faizal generating list of questions to be asked by interviewees. Questions should be asked based on the message which is intended to send across.So far they have done 5 questions. and still working on some more.
• We will be asking our grandparents and friends for their point of view.
• Jazzline was editing her script which turned out to be wrong as instead of doing a script she was doing 'what we will be doing'. But this will not be an disadvantage to us because this will help us on what to do at Fort Siloso.However she had typed out the camera angles and shots which need to be taken.This will help us save time.
• Amira was helping Jazzline editing the 'script' while taking notes of what her group members were doing so she could do the schedule.
• Adeline and Darius are the blog manager.They will be posting everything that we have done like the scripts,schedule,research,interview question and pictures.
• Finally Mikeshen and SiokHoon are doing research on Fort siloso.This is so that Amira and Jazzline know what pictures they will be taking at Fort Siloso.
